Meet the Doctor
Dr. Joseph Megara, III, DPM, CWS-P

Dr. Joseph Megara is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He earned his medical degree from the Ohio School of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland and completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Megara is certified in hyperbaric medicine, is a Certified Master Surgeon in the HyProCure implant, and is board certified in wound management. He is affiliated with Inspira Health Network and The Memorial Hospital of Salem County, and he speaks English and Spanish.

Yesterday I had an appointment with Allyson R. Bress, DPM .
The office staff was friendly and helpful. Dr Bress was great !

I'm giving a 5 star review because Dr Joseph Megara really help me! I had nothing but great things to say about Dr Joseph Megara over the years until yesterday! He was so awesome until yesterday were he deliberately aplied unnecessary pain to my foot! It was truly unbelievably painful! He was upset about me not doing follow ups! It was like seeing a Doctor Jekel Mr Hide! I will not be going back to him ever again which is very disappointing! I really thought I found a really great foot doctor! Dr. Megara and his team are phenomenal!!!!! I suffered for over 5.5 months of chronic pain and infection to my foot without answers from all of the other specialists and hospital visits I’ve had. After hearing my concerns and trying a rigid yet aggressive treatment plan for my foot issue for 2.5 months, I am overjoyed to say that we have an answer to what has caused my foot issue and I am no longer in need of wearing a boot. ALSO, my pain level is at 0!!!!

I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Joseph Megara From being treated by his interns for a wound at Inspira Hospital. From The moment I walked in his office, his staff were so nice and friendly, they made me feel at ease immediately. I did not know what to expect, cause I've never had a wound before. Then nurse Dee (Who is awesome and So caring) took a look at my Wound, cleaned and measured it, took pictures, but the whole time she was talking to me, she reassured me that I was going to be OK. She really made me feel comfortable because I was a nervous wreck And couldn't stop shaking.
Then I met Dr. Joseph Megara who Is phenomenal, my nickname for him was God. He explained everything and showed my husband and I step-by-step of what we needed to do and how to do it. He was very patient and answered all our questions Truthfully. He is So knowledgeable, but still very warm, caring, friendly and a funny guy. I feel very blessed he was my doctor. I was very lucky to be Dr Megara's 1st patient many years ago.I had a really bad infection of my ankle which became osteomyelitis. There was a possibility that I could have lost my foot. After surgery once a week Dr Megara would debride my wound. The care and attention I was given couldn't have been better. He saved my foot! I will be forever grateful to him.
